This was all Robert’s idea…

Robert is a legendary man. In his natural habitat he enjoys to Varial Kickflip, drink beer and be a beyond average nice human being. Most importantly, he went on holiday to Uganda with 2x25kg of baggage. It was his idea to fill one of those bags with personal belongings for an adventure holiday and donate the contents of the other to the Uganda Skateboarding Society.

Initially, the plan was to collect enough (new / used) parts to send Robert to Uganda with 10 complete skateboards. Because skaters are typically the more awesome kind of people, we actually ended up with 46kg of gear: 1 Complete Board, 10 Decks, 10 Sets of Trucks, 24 Sets of Bearings, 43 Griptapes, 17 Sets of Hardware, 17 Sets of Wheels, 2 Skatetools, 8 Pairs of Shoes and various little parts.

And yes, Robert threw his socks into the carry-on luggage.
